What to Expect

  • Thursday

    We begin with our opening circle and a grounding Yoga Practice. Followed by a lovely dinner to connect and get to know each other.

    We finish with an evening gathering to journal discuss details.

  • Friday

    We begin with our morning ritual of hot lemon water + neti pot, then morning meditation, breath work, and yoga practice.

    Today we focus on preparing the mind and body for cleansing.

  • Saturday

    This our Cleanse Day. We clear the body and mind with our Salt Water Cleanse, followed by a beautiful day of silence and creativity.

    Today is all about rest, releasing, and being curious.

  • Sunday

    Today we dream, we expand, we share. This day is dedicated to creating vision boards and our “tool bag” for returning home feeling powerful and INSPIRED!

    Today is all about cultivation and healing.

  • Monday

    We close with a powerful practice. A practice anchored in gratitude. Followed by our final meal, hugs and kisses!

    We return home to our beautiful lives with a renewed sense of self.

  • Not at all! Each year we have a variety of guests who join us with all different skill levels. Our yoga practices are all-levels offering a variety of modifications along the way.

  • This is an optional (but recommended) cleanse that we perform on the retreat.

    Shankha Prakshalana is a yogic practice that involves a series of yoga poses after drinking salt water to cleanse the gastrointestinal tract. The poses are designed to help direct the flow of water through the digestive system, clearing the bowels out.

    This intestinal cleansing practice has many benefits:

    Digestive health

    Can improve digestion, relieve digestive disorders, indigestion, and constipation, and strengthen the digestive system

    Other health benefits

    Can improve skin health, relieve emotional states, increase flexibility, and reduce blood pressure, BMI, and fatigue

  • Yes, thats right!

    We offer one full day of silence. This is done on the morning of our salt water cleanse. We purify our bodies, then retreat into silence until dinner time.

    We encourage guests to turn off their phones, avoid reading, writing, or any other kind of "busy work."

    We provide many opportunities for creative expression such as painting, drawing, and crafting. Guests use this time to rest, get out into nature, and enjoy the sacred pause.

  • After our day of cleansing and silence, we begin to cultivate and create by making vision boards!

    A vision board is a collage of images and words representing a person's wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration for their future.

    All materials are supplied, however please feel free to bring any magazines, or images that speak to your heart.

  • All of our meals served during this retreat are prepared by yours truly! We meal plan, prep, and cook all of the meals for our guests. This is our "Seva" meaning Dedication to Others.

    We hope that through our meals you feel the love and inspiration we have to offer.

    All meals are whole foods; from the earth. We do not offer any caffeine, sugars, dairy, or gluten. Our menu is clean, seasonal, and delicous.

    This is an opportunity to clean out our systems!

  • Nope. None.

    This retreat provides us with an opportunity to look closely at our habits and routines. Instead of our morning coffee or tea, we start each morning with warm lemon water to kick start our digestive system.

    We strongly suggest that guests start "weaning" themselves off coffee/tea the week before the retreat starts.

  • A neti pot is a small "tea pot" shaped device that uses saline solution to clear out the nasal passages.

    We use a neti pot each morning to clear our noses and prepare for breath work and meditation.

    We will give a full tutorial on the first day for those that are unfamiliar with the proper technique.
